Sunday, Dec. 30
Enjoy an intimate theater reading after a delightful brunch at the Twin Lakes Inn. Jim Leaming and Carmen Roman (Jim’s wife) will do a touching fireside reading of Botanic Garden.
Take a ski tour with a ranger at Ski Cooper to learn about animal tracks, trees, and more.
Monday, Dec. 31
Celebrate New Year’s Eve at Ski Cooper! Ski and snowboard during the day, then celebrate at Katie O’Rourke’s Irish Pub with the band Trading Fours. At 6 p.m., head outside to watch a torchlight ski parade from the base of the Molly Mayfield run!
Catch the second showing of This Wonderful Life with Jim Leaming starring in this magical and heartwarming story, at the Twin Lakes Schoolhouse.
As the night rolls on, dress up for the Black and White New Year’s Eve at Leadville’s Historic Pastime Bar & Café, with original music, country, rock, Spanish and classic rock from Mirage.
Or head to the New Year’s Eve Party at Treeline Kitchen, with bottomless champagne, appetizers all night, dancing, party favors, and more.
Tuesday, Jan. 1
On New Year’s Day, grab a onesie (for a beer discount) and come drink the day relaxing and watching college football bowl games. Bring your favorite food for a people’s choice New Year’s traditions cooking contest.
