Join the Continental Divide Trail Coalition and local Ambassadors from Leadville for a community wildflower hike on the Continental Divide Trail to celebrate Pride Month on Sunday, June 25th from 10 am-2 pm. Hikers of all experience levels and identities are welcome to hike and marvel at nature’s rainbow of wildflowers! Please register in advance.
We will meet at the Get Outdoors Leadville! gear library on the Colorado Mountain College campus (901 US-24) at 10 am and carpool to the Timberline Lake Trailhead (a 25-minute drive) to start hiking by 11 am. The hike to Timberline Lake is uphill and 4.3 miles round-trip. Snacks will be provided. Plan for a warm day and bring plenty of water and sunscreen.
