Fire Station Fundraiser with Local “Rocketman” Jeff Ashby
Strap in for a ride into space with Lake County’s own Jeff Ashby. Join this retired Navy aviator, three-time NASA shuttle commander, and current chief of mission assurance for Blue Origin as he presents “High Perspective from Space: Photos and Stories of Earth.”
Capt. Ashby has waived his normal speaking fee and all funds raised will go directly to funding a second fire station in Lake County. Tickets may be purchased at the door, and donation receipts can be provided. A Q&A will follow his one-hour presentation.
Cost: $20 each
Special rates for Lake County students and their families, Colorado Mountain College students, and other local groups.
