Leadville Pumpkin Patch and Dia De Los Muertos Festival

We are excited to announce, after a two-year hiatus, Pumpkin Patch is back, and…has a NEW home with Get Outdoors Leadville! (GOL!)
Pumpkin Patch has been a fun, family event for over 20 years, geared towards our youngest community members and families. As we all know, Trick-or-Treating can be hard in Leadville.
With cold weather, and sometimes several inches of snow, Pumpkin Patch became the opportunity to show off fairy wings, ninja attire, creative costumes, and cool face paint without having to bundle up in winter gear! The whole family was encouraged to dress up and show off their creative costumes.
Pumpkin Patch included activities such as games, a bake sale, a silent auction, face painting, a bouncy house, arts and crafts, pumpkins, a costume contest, and more. This event was hosted
here in Leadville at the 6th Street Gym for the majority of those years, and more recently moved to Freight. After several years, this event began donating the proceeds to The Center, and later
expanded to all of Lake County’s Early Childhood community, including all licensed childcare providers-The Center, Bright Start, and Sophie Garza. Pumpkin Patch quickly became one of Lake County’s favorite fundraising events! It’s safe to say, this event would not be possible without the COUNTLESS volunteers and donors over the years-including individuals from the community, families, local business, organizations, and more! So a big shout-out goes out to all of YOU!
Since it’s launch in 2017, Get Outdoors Leadville! has become a beloved part of our Lake County community. We are SO excited that GOL! will carry on this event for the next generation.
This year, Pumpkin Patch will be held on Saturday, October 29th from 11:00 a.m. – 3 p.m. at the Huck Finn Ice Rink and it will be completely FREE! Although Pumpkin Patch will no longer be a
fundraising event, you can still make a donation directly to The Center, Bright Start, Sophie Garza, or even Get Outdoors Leadville! (Lake County’s licensed school-age childcare facility).
As in years past, there will be games, face painting, arts and crafts, pumpkins, a costume parade and contest, and much more.

Nos complace anunciar que, después de una pausa de dos años, Pumpkin Patch regresa y… tiene un NUEVO hogar con Get Outdoors Leadville! (GOL!) Pumpkin Patch ha sido un evento familiar divertido durante más de 20 años, dirigido a los
miembros más jóvenes de nuestra comunidad y sus familias. Como todos sabemos, Trick-or-Treating puede ser difícil en Leadville. Con el clima frío y, a veces, varias pulgadas de nieve,
Pumpkin Patch se convirtió en la oportunidad para mostrar alas de hadas, ropa de ninja, disfraces creativos y caras pintadas sin tener que abrigarse con ropa de invierno. Se animó a toda la familia a disfrazarse y mostrar sus creativos disfraces.
Pumpkin Patch incluyó actividades como juegos, una venta de pasteles, una subasta, pintura de caras, una casa hinchable, artes y manualidades, calabazas, un concurso de disfraces y más. Este evento se llevó a cabo aquí en Leadville en el 6th Street Gym durante la mayoría de esos años, y más recientemente se trasladó a Freight. Este año, Pumpkin Patch se llevará a cabo el sábado 29 de octubre de 11:00 a. m. a 3:00 p. m. en la Pista de Hielo Huck Finn y será completamente GRATIS! Aunque Pumpkin Patch ya no será un evento de recaudación de fondos, aún puede hacer una donación directamente a The Center, Bright Start, Sophie Garza o incluso Get Outdoors Leadville! (Centro de cuidado de niños en edad escolar con licencia del Condado de Lake). Como en años anteriores, habrá juegos, pintura de caras, manualidades, calabazas, desfile y concurso de disfraces, y mucho más.
