Nature at Night – Nocturnal Animal Adaptations

Saturday Program at Turquoise Lake Ampitheater

Join Paige McAllister from the Leadville wildlife crew and learn about the fascinating life of animals that come out after dark! From the silent wings of owls to the sonar navigation of bats, come discover these captivating creatures and the secrets behind their incredible nighttime adaptations.

Children must come with an adult for these free, fun programs. Bring your camp chairs.  The program may be cancelled if there is rain or lightning.

About The Turquoise Lake Amphitheater: We are in the process of planning and building a new stage with seating at Turquoise Lake. The site is located along a path by the existing Turquoise Lake Nature Trail Parking Area. For these programs, meet at the Nature Trail Parking area on the left side of the road along the entrance to Molly Brown Campground, off the Turquoise Lake Loop Road/CO Rd 9. Our Forest Service staff will escort you to the new site.
