Rob Magazzu Memorial Cooper Cup Giant Slalom Race

Cooper Cups are community giant slalom races located at Ski Cooper on the Black Powder venue. Anyone and everyone is welcome: alpine skiers, telemarkers, and snowboarders. Bring the whole family out!! The race entry fee is $11.50 per general public racer, $6.50 per CCMS member racer. Registration closes at 3 pm the day before the race and is limited to 125 participants. No onsite registration. No refunds. A valid Cooper day pass or season pass is required. Registered racers will get 2 race runs. Results will be calculated as best of those two runs. Awards will be held in the base area above the Timberline Taproom at 3:30-ish. Register Here.
The race will take place on Black Powder starting at the second shack down the hill – you can see it from the lift at tower 19. Course inspection begins at 9:30. The inspection is absolutely NOT a full speed warmup run and please no stopping on the course. Families with small children can ski together to practice the path around the gates. Watch ahead of you. SAFETY FIRST!!!
