DESCRIPTION:Learn and have fun at the Forest Service talk on “Where Did our Campground Names Come From?” at the Turquoise Lake Amphitheater \nSaturday\, June 14 7:00 p.m. \nA Preacher who delivered the mail on snowshoes … The famous Lady who survived the Titanic…Gold\, silver and copper mines\, The Silver King and Queen…and others…Come hear Joan Veilleux from the Forest Service tell us the colorful history of these amazing people who our campgrounds are named for. \nMeet at the Nature Trail Parking area on the left side of the road along the entrance to Molly Brown Campground\, off the Turquoise Lake Loop Road/CO Rd 9.\nOur Forest Service staff will escort you to the new site. \nBring a camp chair or blanket to sit on.\nChildren must come with an adult for these free\, fun programs.\nThe program may be cancelled if there is rain or lightning.
