DESCRIPTION:Join Lake County Public Library and CSU Extension and turn simple ingredients into probiotic-rich foods! \nThis bonus class explores fermentation\, focusing on Sauerkraut\, but will talk about other fermentation opportunities (kimchi and yogurt). \nLearn about the science of beneficial bacteria\, food safety\, and how to add variety to your pantry with tangy\, healthy creations. For this workshop we’ll be using cabbage grown right here in Leadville at the Cloud City Farm. \n-Please bring a knife; all other supplies will be provided.  \n-Registration Required: limited to 15 participants.
