SUMMARY:Friends of Lake County & GARNA - Missouri Gulch Bridge Repair
DESCRIPTION:Help the USFS\, the Colorado Trail Foundation\, and the Chaffee Rec Adopters replace handrails and replace surface material at bridge approaches.  Meet at Missouri Gulch\, find driving directions here. \nWe will provide shovels\, rakes\, and ash and trash disposal. Bring extra shovels and rakes if you have them\, and wear work clothes\, closed-toe shoes\, and work gloves (we have extra work gloves for those who would like to borrow a pair). Bring plenty of water\, snacks\, layers\, and sunscreen.

DESCRIPTION:Arkansas River Collaborative Watershed and GARNA –  Greater Arkansas River Nature Association  are excited to be hosting another educational events!\n\nThe tour will cross the burn area\, so participants should be prepared to get dirty! After the burn area tour\, participants will have the option of continuing the hike to the historic Interlaken Resort site or return to the trailhead. \n\n\nJoin us on a guided tour through the Interlaken Fire burn area to learn how we’re working with partners to protect the Twin Lakes ecosystem from post-fire erosion and flooding.
