Cycles of Life
Cycles of Life is a full service bike shop in Leadville, Colorado. We are situated at 10,152′ above sea level, and surrounded by mountain peaks ranging from 12,000′ to 14,443′. Our rentals let you try out the area’s great trails.
Winter Rentals
Fat Tire Bikes: The summer ends, sooner than later here in Leadville, but the desire to ride doesn’t extinguish. With models from some of the leaders in fat tire bikes manufacturing (REEB, Borealis, Salsa, Rocky Mountain Bicycles), we have a bike to fit you as well as your needs and style. Pick any one of our offerings for $50 a day.
Skate Skis and Classic Skis: Our fleet consists of some of Rossignol’s best products (Delta Skate Skis, Zymax Skate Skis, X-8 Boots, Extra Carbon 70 Poles and Extra Carbon 30 Poles). Whether you are beginner or an expert at skate or classic skiing, we are sure to meet your needs with our more than 20 years of experience and love for the sport.
Summer Rentals
We have rental bikes available for the whole family. We rent the capable Jamis Explorer 2 comfort bikes for town and riding on the scenic and historic Mineral Belt Trail. They are 21 speed geared bikes, include a helmet, and rent for $25/day. We have 20″ and 24″ geared kids bikes in that category too.
Demos
Want to try a bike out before you purchase? Feel worry free. We will put up to 2 days worth of demo fees towards your bike purchase. All of our mountain bike demos are from Niner. We offer full suspension, carbon full suspension and carbon hartails. Our $50 demo bike is the Niner JET 9 alloy. Our $75 demo bike is a Niner Air 9 RDO Carbon hardtail. Our $100 demo bike is a Niner JET 9 RDO Carbon full suspension.
Service
Our service shop specializes in all types of repair, minor and major, including custom bike builds, tune-ups, custom wheel building, suspension and fork overhauls, bike fitting and more with most parts in stock. We sell bikes and frames from Niner, Rocky Mountain, Salsa, Moots, REEB, Borealis and a few others.
We are dedicated to ensure that whether you’re new to biking or you’re a pro, that you will be taken well care of. We love biking and are passionate about what we do. Come check us out; you won’t be disappointed!
