      Why It’s a Gem

At the Mt. Massive Golf Course Ski Trails, the easy terrain lets you focus on the scenery—and the scenery is amazing. The golf course trails offer open views of Mt. Elbert and Mt. Massive, Colorado’s two highest peaks, and the broad, scenic Upper Arkansas River Valley. The Links to Lake trails wind into the pines, with a glimpse of the wintry creek Lake Fork of the Arkansas River flowing through the forest. Starting at the clubhouse, you can make several fun and fairly flat loops on either trail. See a trail map.

The firm, fast snow is perfect for skate or classic skiing or snowshoeing. Care to strap a harness on your pups and try ski joring with dogs? This is a great place to learn. Dogs must be leashed on the golf course and in the parking lots.

      Perks

At the beginning or end of your ski, you can warm up with snacks at the clubhouse. Be sure to check out the pro shop!
