Molly Brown

Margaret Brown, now known as Molly, arrived in Leadville as a teenager in the early 1880s, working as a seamstress in a dry goods store. She eventually married J.J. Brown, at Annunciation Church in Leadville.

Her trip on the maiden voyage of the Titanic and heroic actions earned her the nickname the “Unsinkable” Molly Brown.
