Leadville Boom Days is a mining heritage festival and historical celebration of the Old West, with a parade, burro races, car show, contests of mining skill, and a street fair with over 100 food and craft booths. Celebrating Leadville’s rich mining history, the event is beloved by locals and visitors alike for over 60 years. It is always the first full weekend in August.
