Beneath the moonlight, experience the Nordic Center’s 27 km of trails in a new way with an exciting night run. Grab your crew, this is a chance to reconnect with old friends or make new ones. We’re staying open late for the Full Moon ski series, bringing the community together for food, music, and a good old-fashioned ski. Bring your fat bike to achieve maximum fun.
Each month, a musical guest will play late into the evening, from the country swing jams to DJ dance party delights. There will be plenty of drinks, both alcoholic and NA, along with our specialty cocktail list. Get your buffalo chili and grilled cheese fix. There will be rentals available. No need to RSVP, just show up in plenty of layers, ready to party. We can’t wait to see you when the moon is full and the trails are bright!
Full Moon Ski days are
— Sunday, Feb. 5: Full Snow Moon party from 5 to 10 p.m. Musical guest is Carey + Lucas – a organic mix of blues, funk and country.
— Tuesday, March 7: Full Worm Moon party from 5 to 10 p.m. Musical guest to be determined.
— Wednesday, April 5: Full Pink Moon and adult prom from 5 p.m. until late night.
The series will culminate on Wednesday, April 5 during the Full Pink Moon with an adult prom. Gather your sequins and top hats because the best dressed party wins a gift certificate to the Tennessee Pass Cookhouse.
On Wed, April 5 we are celebrating Dolly. We will have our final full moon ski & prom from 5-10 pm. We will be doing a Dolly Parton Look Alike Contest, judging at 7. The prize for the most convincing Dolly will be a gift certificate for dinner for two at the Cookhouse. Our DJ will be @diegonxi playing your fave prom hits. There will be a silent auction for the up and coming nonprofit Blue Elements, who are concerned with watershed stewardship in Lake County. We will also have a cowboy hat decorating station, delicious drinks, and food specials all night. See you there, big hair!
