What if you see a bear in your campground? Are you worried about mountain lions in the area? Leslie Nelson US Forest Service Biological Science Technician, will teach us about these wild and beautiful animals and what is the right thing to do to keep yourself and them safe if and when you meet them face to face in the wild.
Park at the Nature Trail Parking area on the left side of the road along the entrance to Molly Brown Campground, off the Turquoise Lake Loop Road/CO Rd 9.
Walk up the trail toward the lake and you will find us.
Bring a camp chair or blanket to sit on.
Children must come with an adult for these free, fun programs.
The program may be cancelled if there is rain or lightning.
