US Forest Service Talk at Turquoise Lake Amphitheater

Learn and have fun at the Forest Service talk on “The Land Above the Trees” at the Turquoise Lake Amphitheater
Saturday, June 13th 7pm
Join local backcountry guide and naturalist, Tanya, to learn some fascinating details about the natural history of the Leadville area. She will share about the alpine and subalpine environment, what is blooming and evening critters you might encounter while in the area and more.
Park at the Nature Trail Parking area on the left side of the road along the entrance to Molly Brown Campground, off the Turquoise Lake Loop Road/CO Rd 9.
Walk up the trail toward the lake and you will find us.
Bring a camp chair or blanket to sit on.
Children must come with an adult for these free, fun programs.
The program may be cancelled if there is rain or lightning.
