Scorpion Star Party with the US Forest Service in Twin Lakes
July 11 @ 8:30 pm
Free

Join a FS Ranger as we discuss what’s in the night sky. Learn Greek constellation stories of Scorpion and Orion and the Big and Little Dipper. This will be our first ever Electronic Assisted Astronomy (EAA) Star Party-not only will we have a 9.25 Evolution Telescope, but we will have a brand new Celestron Origin Smart Telescope to display images on an IPAD of what we’re looking at.
Meet at Red Rooster Boating/Fishing Site off Highway 82
Children must come with an adult for this free, fun program.
The program may be cancelled if there is rain or lightning.
Please dress in layers, wear sturdy shoes, bring a camp chair or blanket and a headlamp that has a red (or low-light color) setting if you have one
