All About Leadville Twin Lakes Weekend
This winter’s lower snowfall has meant a slower season for many Leadville and Lake County businesses that rely on visitors.
All About Leadville & Twin Lakes Weekend is a community-wide event to support our local businesses and celebrate everything that makes Leadville special. We’re inviting our neighbors from surrounding counties to come spend a weekend exploring downtown – shopping local, dining out, discovering new favorite spots, and entering to win some awesome prizes along the way.
When you visit Leadville, you’re supporting small businesses and helping give our community a much-needed boost after a slower winter season.
Shop Small, Win Big! For every $100 spent you get a raffle ticket (max 15 tickets).
This isn’t your typical raffle, the prizes capture the adventurous, one-of-a-kind spirit of Leadville and Twin lakes. Participants can choose from incredible experiences, including:
- A full buyout of Tennessee Pass Nordic Center for up to 25 people, including food
- A private scenic airplane tour over Leadville and the surrounding peaks
- An entry into the legendary Leadville Trail 100 Mountain Bike Race
- Private party at FREIGHT’s Boxcar Bar plus a stay in a S.L.umberyard Cabin
- Additional prizes and experiences to be announced
For those ready to go all in, the first 10 shoppers who spend $1,000 during the weekend will receive a coveted Melanzana hoodie, a true Leadville icon, along with 10 raffle entries. Bring your receipts (or other proof of purchase) to the Leadville Visitor Center by Sunday, May 3rd at 12pm to be entered. Remember: all purchases must be made at Lake County businesses between Friday at 12:00 p.m. and Sunday at 12:00 p.m.
The weekend will be packed with events and experiences, including:
- Saturday Iron Hill 10K and Fun Run hosted by the Pastime Run Club
- Live music throughout downtown
- Sunday Breakfast Club bike trail ride with Cloud City Wheelers
- Saturday Sauna Sessions with Sunshine Sauna
- Saturday Makers Markets featuring local artisans
- Food & drink specials at favorite eateries
- Retail promotions at locally owned shops
