Learn and have fun at the Forest Service talk on “From Beach Front to Mountains” at the Turquoise Lake Amphitheater
Saturday, June 21 7:00 p.m.
Join local geologist, Fred Mark as he presents 500 million years of Leadville geologic history, from beach front to mountains.
Meet at the Nature Trail Parking area on the left side of the road along the entrance to Molly Brown Campground, off the Turquoise Lake Loop Road/CO Rd 9.
Our Forest Service staff will escort you to the new site.
Bring a camp chair or blanket to sit on.
Children must come with an adult for these free, fun programs.
The program may be cancelled if there is rain or lightning.
