The Taste of Leadville is the annual fundraiser for St. George’s Episcopal Church, in conjunction with the Parade of Lights. Since food is central to our mission, we want to celebrate the many unique tastes of Leadville by bringing the entire community together to sample “bites” and “sips” from our town’s various restaurants and venues. St. George’s offers a food pantry, a mobile food pantry, and community meals to address food procurement challenges in our community. Buy your tickets today!

Calm Beneath Castles is an awe-inspiring ski movie that delves into the heart, soul, and mind of skiers driven by an insatiable thirst for adventure and discovery. This epic film explores the essence of finding solace in nature and being one with the mountains. Cloud City Mountain Sports presents this Matchstick Productions film at its famous annual fundraiser to support our club, which helps local kids learn to ski, snowboard, and cross-country ski! Take home goodies from a raffle and silent auction. Food and drinks will be available for purchase. Buy tickets today!

Enjoy the uncrowded slopes and family-friendly vibe at Cooper! Only 9 miles from Leadville, Cooper has 64 trails served by five lifts, spanning 480 lift-served acres. Trails are covered in all-natural snow. Season passes are on sale now! Your Cooper Season Pass (Ages 6-74) allows you to ski three free days  at each   partner resort in the Powder Alliance!

Snow Zipping / Winter Ziplining

Fly on a zipline above the snowy landscape, with a birds-eye view of surrounding peaks. What a rush! It’s an unforgettable experience. (Zipline opens for winter on Nov. 20, 2024.) Combine your ziplining with a snowmobile tour, for a day of fun! (Snowmobiling starts Dec. 7, 2024, or as snow allows.)
