Join Our First-Ever Camp & Run Weekend

If you enjoy adventuring outdoors and volunteering, join an inspirational weekend in Leadville-Twin Lakes, Colorado. Make new friends and explore the treasured landscapes of this iconic trail-running town!

 

Join us Friday, June 21 – Sunday, June 23, 2024, for

  • Daily runs or hikes as a group or on your own
  • Hands-on service projects to give back to the community
  • Activities to learn more about Leadville’s history
  • Group lunches and dinners
  • Evening campfires to share stories and chat about this beautiful place

 

Zoe Rom, an ultrarunner, coach, author, editor, podcast host, and comedian will lead runs.

SCHEDULE

RUNS / HIKES

  • Saturday AM: Turquoise Lake Run, Out & Back, beginning and ending at the Campsite. Choose your own distance!
  • Sunday AM: Run near Half Moon Road – Colorado Trail

ALL ARE WELCOME

Everyone is welcome to join this amazing opportunity! The hosts are nonprofits committed to creating inclusive communities and to protecting the environment. Camping will be held at a fully accessible, group campsite that can accommodate participants with various accessibility needs. Please contact us if you have specific accessibility needs you would like to discuss.

 

If camping isn’t your thing, you may stay at accommodations in Leadville. While the cost to camp with us is included in the registration fee for this event, other accommodation options will be at your own expense.

HOSTS AND SPONSORS

Four nonprofits will host this special event: Runners for Public LandsCloud City Conservation CenterFriends of Lake County, and the Lake County Tourism Panel. Sponsors include Leadville’s High Mountain PiesBest Day BrewingGUTeva, and Trail Butter.

 

REGISTER TODAY

The weekend costs $45 per person, including camping, coffee, lunches, dinners, and some snacks.

 

For anyone interested in this event but unable to manage the fee, please contact us to inquire about available “camperships.”
