Now an American Birkebeiner qualifier, the Leadville Loppet Nordic ski race is held each February as a fundraiser for Leadville’s beloved Mineral Belt Trail. Bring your whole family! Races available for all ages and ability levels!

Leadville, Colorado invites Nordic skiers of all ages and ability levels to the Annual Leadville Loppet Nordic Ski Races

Nordic skiers of both the ‘Classic’ (or ‘parallel’) and ‘Freestyle’ (or ‘skate’) disciplines are welcome. Whether racers want to test their speed and endurance or simply enjoy a casual, fun tour along the Mineral Belt Trail, the Leadville Loppet is family-friendly and welcomes all.

All starts and finishes are located at the Colorado Mountain College Leadville Campus

Leadville Loppet invites participants to choose among five race distance options:

44 Ski Race 

22K Ski Race

10K Ski Race

5K Costume Ski · Dress up! Sparkles, glitter, wigs, vintage ski garb, and costumes of all kinds!

1K Kids Funski · Kids, dress up! Find your best costumes, colors and outfits!
