Public Shooting & Archery Range

The Lake County public shooting range is free and accessible to all. This 15-acre range has a 100 yd. and 200 yd. range as well as 10 yd., 25 yd. and 50 yd. ranges.

The range has a shotgun / plinking area and vault toilet, and the entire facility is accessible under the Americans with Disabilities Act.  

The archery range includes 12 targets for both youth and adults. Targets range from 10-50 yards.

Directions to Range – Take Hwy 24 South from Leadville to county road 23 (Lake County Airport Road). Follow CR 23 approximately 1 mile to county road 45. Veer right and follow CR 45 for approximately 3 miles (left under the power lines) until you arrive at the shooting range. Coordinates – N39 13’10” W106 18’8.2″
