Tennessee Pass sits at the entrance to two key area attractions: Ski Cooper and the Tennessee Pass Cookhouse & Sleep Yurts. At the turnoff, to the east side of the road, you will find memorials to honor heroes of the 10th Mountain Division and the 99th Battalion. The memorials honor the soldiers who trained at nearby Cooper Hill and gave their lives on World War II battlefields.
On the western side of this gentle pass you will find a trailhead for the Colorado Trail / Continental Divide Trail. One of the famed 10th Mountain Division Huts is also nearby, accessed via this trail.
