In winter, the hut is accessible by skis, snowshoes, or splitboard, while summer visitors can hike or bike in. The approach is approximately 3.75 miles with 1,100 feet of elevation gain and follows the county roads, making for a relative straightforward journey into the high alpine.
Though off-grid, Rose Hut has everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a fully equipped kitchen with a propane cooktop, outdoor grill, mini-fridge, cookware, serveware, and coffee-making supplies. Warm up with the propane furnaces or gather around the wood stove for a little extra ambiance.
