Saying Farewell to Ski Season in Leadville

As the snow starts to melt and the goggle tans become badges of honor, it’s time to celebrate the end of another epic ski season in the high country. In Leadville, we bid farewell to winter with sunshine, soft turns, and a series of unforgettable events at our neighboring ski mountains: Ski Cooper and Copper Mountain.

Celebrate the season’s end with a day full of skiing and camaraderie. Plenty of places to catch some rays with patio seating available at Ridgeview Cafe (on mountain) and at Katie O’Rourke’s and the Timberline Taproom at the base. Enjoy live music on the deck (weather permitting) featuring local band Horizon Line from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM. Plus, join the party all weekend long with tailgating in the Nordic Center parking lot. It’s the perfect way to toast to another fantastic winter at Cooper!
