The Leadville – Lake County Airport is North America’s highest public use airport at an altitude of 9,934’ MSL. Located in the heart of the Rocky Mountains, our airport offers access to the abundant 8 ski resorts within a one hour drive or less, abundant summer recreation right here in Lake County.

AIRPORT SERVICES

Our Fixed Base Operator (FBO) is open seven days a week from 0700-1700 with on-call available for after hours needs. The pilot lounge is accessible 24/7 and has a restroom, TV, computer, free WIFI, and comfortable seating.

Other services include: courtesy vans, Short-term hangar space, Ramp parking, LXV merchandise, and free mountain views!
