Nordic Skiing and Snowshoeing

GLIDE THROUGH WINTER

Over 60 miles of trails near Leadville are groomed regularly from late fall to early spring for winter travel. Glide through smooth tracks or tromp atop the snow.

Classic tracks can be found on the groomed 12 mile Mineral Belt Trail Loop and the 16 mile trail system at Tennessee Pass Nordic Center.

The Turquoise Lake Road and East Side Mining District have multi-use groomed trails through the trees and alongside long forgotten mining structures.

Looking to get off the groom? The trail network at the Leadville National Fish Hatchery, Colorado/Continental Divide Trail sections and along to the shore of Twin Lakes to the Interlaken Resort are not to be missed.

For overnight adventure, plan a hut trip or camp in a yurt.

Nordic Pulse is the place to find the latest county grooming reports!
