Why It’s a Gem
Experience the history of the Ute Tribes that once called this area home. This fairly flat stretch of trail is a great sunny stretch that in the springtime often dries out sooner than other trails. The trail provides multiple access points to the Gold Medal Waters of the Arkansas River and impeccable views of the Sawatch Mountain Range. Connect with the High Lonesome Road at Kobe to make it a loop.
Bring your sunscreen, this beautiful stretch has minimal shade access.
